Part 1 – His Presence

(Psalm 139:7) Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?

His Manifest Presence

(Genesis 3:8) And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

(Exodus 33:14–15) And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” 15 Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.

Leaving His Presence

(Genesis 4:16) Then Cain went out from the presence of the Lord and dwelt in the land of Nod on the east of Eden.

(Jonah 1:1–3) Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, 2 “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.” 3 But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.

Entering His Presence

(Psalm 95:1–2) Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

(Psalm 100:1–2) Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! 2 Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.

(Psalm 16:11) You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
