Wendy was raised in Southern California in an Assembly of God church and was very involved in the church from a young age, even starting a ministry at 17 years old. Elias grew up in upstate New York and was also heavily involved in ministry, including traveling to Africa for a mission trip. He moved to California as a teenager where he continued to be involved in church. The two met in college where they both received their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Sports Medicine. Wendy was a ballet dancer and teacher and has worked with many groups, including the Rockettes. Because they both have the same degrees, they have been able to work together many times and love when their worlds are able to intertwine in that way. Wendy and Elias have been married for almost 17 years and have 3 beautiful children – Zoya (10), Audrey (8), and Xander (5). They have lived in Troy for almost 4 years. Wendy enjoys being a stay-at-home mom and homeschooling their children, while Elias works in Sports Medicine with the Troy University football team. Both of them love being involved in Vine Kids and being able to teach the next generation about how amazing our God is.
